Description

Kabelvåg Feriehus & Camping is an old tenant smallholding with a main house, cowhouse and Nordland-style residence near Kabelvåg.

The central location of the Nordland-style residence, and the proximity to all activities offered summer and winter, combine to make this a pleasant place to stay in nostalgic surroundings.

The house is over a hundred years old, newly restored, and represents today a place with soul and personality, as well as with a vibrant history.

Closest neighbour to the Kabelvåg hiking terrain, the sea and the mountains. Within walking distance of fishing lakes, hiking trails, mountain paths, alpine and cross-country skiing trails.

During the winter, the northern lights may be enjoyed from an opera box vantage point in the open Kabelvåg fields.

Strap on your skis that await you outside your Nordland-style residence and enjoy an evening on the skiing trails, with the northern lights sparkling magically directly overhead. Or enjoy the excitement of the slopes, where the ski cabin is open to welcome you, and where coffee and waffles are sold during the weekends.

Alpine and cross-country trails from Småtindene are an experience of their own.

During the summertime, a trip in the hiking areas surrounding Kabelvåg is an experience in itself, through easy and pleasant terrain.

Good fishing opportunities in lakes during the summer, ice fishing in the winter.

The Holiday House is an idyllic, newly restored Nordland-style residence with a foyer, bath, kitchen, livingroom and 2 rooms with 4 beds. The Nordland-style house is tastefully and fully furnished, with painted log walls in all rooms. The house is designed for self-service housekeeping. Smoking is not allowed in the Nordlandshus
