Description

Spirits, fruit squash and jam used to be produced in the old distillery buildings. Today, the premises are home to the candle maker Løiten Lys, among others. It has 3,000 square metres of showroom space spread over four storeys. Both the assortment and colours of the hand-made candles vary with the seasons, and new designs are constantly being developed.

There are also many specialist shops and antiquarian bookshops. Good, home-made food is served in a café at the end of the covered shopping street. Capacity: 80. Gildestua can accommodate up to 50 guests for a four-course meal.
