Description

Hovden offers a varied hiking terrain. Choose between the distinctive peak Hovdenuten with its magnificent views, or the smooth, sloping rocks along the stream Børtemannsbekken. Take the chairlift to the summit of Nos, or explore the mountains by hiking to one of the cabins of the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) in the vicinity of Hovden. Some of our trails are accessible for prams and wheelchairs, and several trips may be combined with fishing. The Tourist Information and the accommodation providers will be pleased to assist you in the planning, whether you prefer a short family day trip or a more challenging experience. We recommend that you buy the Hovden tour map before you start. This is available at the Tourist Information, Hovden Sport and at the various places of accommodation.
