Getting to Bjorli and Lesja and around

Lesja is located between Åndalsnes and Lillehammer, at the very top of Gudbransdalen, and is easily reached by train and car.

By car

From Oslo (360 kilometres)
Driving time: Five hours

Follow E6 towards Lillehammer and Trondheim until you reach Dombås.
Go straight after the roundabout onto E136 towards Åndalsnes.
E136 runs through Lesja.

From Trondheim: (215 kilometres)
Driving time: Three hours

Follow E6 towards Lillehammer and Oslo until you reach Dombås.
Turn right in the roundabout onto E136 towards Lesja and Åndalsnes.

By train

From Oslo and Trondheim you can go by train to , and then take the Rauma Railway to Lesja. For timetables and booking, please contact the Norwegian State Railways (NSB).

By bus

Nor-Way Bussekspress will take you from various places in Norway to Lesja. Lesja Bilruter have buses between Otta and Åndalsnes.
