Drammens Museum
Drammen Museum is an experience for history and art enthusiasts of all ages. You can see the impressive permanent collections of Nøstetangen glass, Baroque silver, eighteenth century Drammen faience, urban furnishings, textiles, interiors, church art and folk art.
Holmsbu Art Gallery
Here you will find paintings by the Norwegian painters Oluf Wold Torne, Thorvald Erichsen and Henrik Sørensen. The gallery was built in 1973, and the architect Bjart Mohr gave it a design which harmonises both with the landscape and the art exhibited.
Fossesholm Herregård
Fossesholm Herregård is a splendid manor in Øvre Eiker. The manor was the main building for the Foss estate, which was unified during the sixteenth century. In the eighteenth century the manor was beautifully embellished and re-built in rococo style, as it still appears today.
Nøstetangen Museum
Nøstetangen Museum is based on the cultural heritage of Nøstetangen Glasværk. Nøstetangen Glasværk, Norway's first glassworks, was established in Hokksund in 1741 and produced table glasses and chandeliers in the German and English style.
Portåsen Farm
This small farm, where the Norwegian poet Herman Wildenvey lived during his childhood, is situated in a beautiful and quiet surroundings in Mjøndalen. Enjoy a presentation of material related to the poet’s life and work.
Union Scene
Union Scene is a 8,000-square metre culture hall in the old paper mills in Drammen. There is always something happening here: Rock concerts, conferences, music teaching, multicultural events, theatre performances and so on.
Skoger Old Church
Skoger Old Church is a stone church from the Middle Ages. It was built between the years 1200 and 1220, and the church is therefore one of the oldest buildings in Drammen.
