Ål is a skier's paradise with over 386 kilometres of groomed cross-country tracks, as well as downhill and sledging slopes at Ål Ski Centre and Skarslia Ski & Akesenter. The Bergsjø area is an ideal starting point for cross-country skiing and snowkiting.

Nesbyen

Nesbyen Alpinsenter and the cross-country tracks are over 1,000 metres above sea level. There are sheltered tracks and slopes through birch forests, as well as wide open summits with fantastic views. Nesbyen also offers winter activites without skis.

Norefjell Skisenter is of international standard and boasts a 1,010 metre fall. Norefjell's 13 lifts bring you to 25 kilometres of prepared ski tracks in 26 slopes with different levels of difficulty.
