Langfossen Waterfall

The fifth largest waterfall in Norway with a 612-metre drop, is situated at the east-end of the beautiful Åkrafjord just outside Etne.

The beaches in Karmøy are as beautiful as you could possibly imagine: White, soft and long. Take a stroll along them and let your eyes gaze out towards the wild and beautiful North Sea.

Steinsfjellet Mountain

Haugalandet is an excellent region for hiking and you should visit some of the many viewpoints available, such as Steinsfjellet - one of the highest peaks in Haugesund. Steinsfjellet is easily accessible by car where you can enjoy views over Haugesund, the North Sea and the surrounding mountains.

Etnefjella Mountains

The mountains east in Haugalandet are ideal for long and short hiking trips all year. Marked trails with many overnight cabins.

Trollvassnipen Mountain and the viewpoint at Holekleiv

Trollvasssnipen is the highest peak in Sveio. Holekleiv – a viewpoint situated one kilometre from Nedstrand in Tysvær. The viewpoint is easily accessible and offers views over the Boknafjord, the moors of Ryfylke and the small and beautiful village of Nedstrand.
