Late spring 2013, Norwegian start flying New York (JFK)-Oslo nonstop. As the second largest airline in Scandinavia, and the largest low-cost airline, their route portfolio stretches across Europe into North Africa and the Middle East. The airline currently operates 261 routes to 100 destinations. New York – Oslo three times a week
During the period May 30 to June 24, Norwegian will fly from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) to New York (JFK) twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. From June 25, the number of weekly flights increases to three; on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Departure from JFK is at 9 p.m. local time, arriving OSL at 10:20 a.m. the next day. Departure from OSL is 5:30 p.m., arriving JFK at 7:30 p.m. local time. The Oslo Airport Express Train, Flytoget, decorated with Munch's famous work, The Scream, will take you to Oslo city centre in less than 20 minutes!

Fort Lauderdale - Oslo twice a week, starting Nov. 30
Norwegian will operate two weekly flights from FLL. Departure from FLL on Mondays and Fridays at 21:30, arriving at OSL at 12:35 the following day. Departure from OSL at 15:10, arriving FLL at 19:30 local time- on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The inaugural flight is on November 30.

New, greener fleet
Early 2012 Norwegian signed an agreement with both Airbus and Boeing for delivery of a total of 222 new aircraft. The total agreement is the largest ever in European aviation history. Norwegian will have received a total of 73 new state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft by 2014, providing the company with one of the most modern, efficient and environmentally-friendly fleets in commercial operation. Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Norwegian has also ordered eight Boeing 787 Dreamliners for its long-haul operation including New York-Oslo flights. The first 787 Dreamliner will be delivered in 2013.
