Riddu Riđđu is a Sami music and culture festival held each summer in the arctic location of Olmmáivággi (Manndalen) in the Gáivuotna (Kåfjord) municipality in Norway. Founded in 1991 the festival has built a loyal following of national and international visitors to its mix of concerts, seminars, performances, films, a youth camp, stage artists, literature readings, children's entertainment, indigenous folk arts from the local people and various festival bazaars. The festival is a powerful symbol of the revitalization of Sami culture and demonstrates the intense pride that young Sami have in their own folklore and identity.
