Mjøstråkk is the name of the 250 km long cycle route around Mjøsa, Norway’s greatest lake.

The major towns situated on the shores of lake Mjøsa are Gjøvik, Hamar and Lillehammer. In addition there are a number of small towns and villages such as Eidsvoll, Stange, Brumunddal and Lena. The cycle route is clearly signposted and the roads on the route are a combination of gravel and asphalt roads.
There are many attractions and sights around lake Mjøsa which are marked and described in the “Mjøstråkk” map. Cycling around Mjøsa is a great way of discovering this beautiful lake close up, surrounded by fields and rolling, green hills.

Experience real pleasure and joy on a bike ride around Mjøsa!

The cycle routes are suitable for both children and adults, and there are many trails of varying length to choose from.
