From road E16, exit to Leira sentrum, follow Månovegen (road) upwards and turn left onto a gravel road towards Skavelbygda. After 900m, turn left on a toll road towards Pilset and Smørlia (NOK 40 in 2010). Drive for approx. 10 km, and after a sharp left turn you will find a few openings for parking on the left side of the road.
Cross the street and walk on the gravel road that exits on your right. After about 400m, the road ends up by a mountain farm, and from there you follow a path. Cross the brook and continue on the path that will take you to the top.
