Spåtind is the highest point on the Synnfjell massif and in the Etnedal county.
From the West: A) Drive from Etnedal towards Lillehammer till Sørre Lenningen (parking) and follow the DNT-route (marked with red T’s) towards Hugulia to the top of Spåtind. B) Park a few kilometers further south at the so called Feplassen and follow the marked path via height 1197 meters with a beautiful view to the top.
From the South: Follow the road from Etnedal at Flatøydegard towards Lillehammer to Rust and exit to the right towards Bakkebygdi and Gamlestølen. From Gamlestølen, continue on the toll road towards Hugulia until Fjellsætri (parking). Follow the signed and marked path to Spåtind. The route is easy and the path very clear.
On the summit, there’s a summit log and an unfortunately quite ugly construction building, which luckily only ruins the summit itself and not the view.
