Description

From Longyearbyen you will see the majestic mountain "Hiortfjellet". Many people feel very attracted to this mountain, and here is your opportunity to ascend it. But it is a tough trip. First the fjord is to be crossed in kayaks, then almost a 1000 m ascend with rough, rocky terrain is waiting for you. About midway to the top suddenly "the Eagles Nest", a former coalmine plant, shows up. On the top of "Hiortfjellet" we find a great reward in the perfect view. Miles of untouched nature lies beyond your feet. As your guide will give you the necessary instructions, you do not need any kayak experience. We regard the summit as demanding and therefore require participants to be min. 16 years old. Duration around 8 hours
