The ideal place for your Ryfylke holiday, in the heart of Rogaland County. Wathne Camping is situated at the western end of Nedre Tysdalsvatnet lake, by the National Tourist Road (Rv13).

Betty and Sam Speer have developed a pleasant family-oriented camping centre where parents and children can enjoy a wonderful stay in beautiful Ryfylke, while feeling safe and secure.

The rentals cabins are comfortable and practical, with a cosy den, small kitchen, six beds and bathroom w/ shower. All cabins and the reception area are non-smoking. In the reception building there are basement facilities that include a TV, billiard table, training equipment and a play corner with various indoor games, including TV-based computer games.

If you wish to rent a cabin, we recommend that you book well in advance by phone or email – there is great demand during the summer season.

The campsite has a large grassy area with easy access to electricity and water for campers, caravans and tents. A separate building contains toilets, showers, kitchen, and laundry facilities for guests who are not staying in cabins. It is also possible to sleep in your own vehicle.

Out of consideration to children, all common areas of the camping facility are alcohol-free, including outdoors and in the service buildings.

Wathne Camping has a sandy beach and swimming area. The camping facility is a perfect base for day excursions to the Pulpit Rock and other attractions.

We have camper spaces available for year-round lease. Please contact us for detailed information.
