Description

Basecamp Trapper`s hotel is situated in the middle of Longyearbyen close to pubs, restaurant, the bank and shopping mall. This is no doubt the roughest and most special hotel on Spitsbergen. The hotel is furnished with drift wood and board from Barentsburg, the Russian settlement on Spitsbergen, and slate stones and furs. You will get the feeling of entering a Spitsbergen hunter’s cottage. No rooms are alike, except for the comfortable beds and bathrooms. Breakfast is served around the long table in Traveler’s Club and the Cognac attic with the ceiling of glass, gives you a perfect view at the arctic light
