Description

Greåker Fort The fort was built around 1900 and in terms of military history, is regarded as part of "Sarpsborg Fort" along with Ravneberget. On April 13, 1940 the fort was manned with 90 brave souls who tried to stop German troops as they crossed the Rolvøysund bridge. It is a tourist attraction offering a fantastic view from the top - an excellent place for a picnic!
