Description

The goal of National Tourist Routes is to make Norway a more attractive tourist destination and to strengthen the industry and population in the districts. Tourist Route Jæren is one of many routes that are labelled a National Tourist Route.

Jæren - with open skies, wide horizons and endless ocean. Constantly changing weather and light. Mile upon mile of sandy beaches and sand dunes, only broken by boulders and salmon rivers. This is Norway's food basket with intensive agriculture in a flat, vast and well-kept cultural landscape, in an area with a mild climate the year round.

The route Jæren from Bore to Ogna is branded with the label National Tourist Route. The route is 41 km long.
