A full-day hike providing a rare and wonderful walking experience.

Description

Distance: 21km one way.
Estimated time to the site: Full-day trip.
Suitable for: Most people, but some fitness necessary.
Start and finish: Car park at Sletta football pitch, Indre Grovfjord and Bjerkvik. Must organise transport by car on return.
Necessary equipment: Good boots, windproof clothes, mittens and hat (can be windy).
Map: Walking maps available on www.novaturlag.no
Marked trail: Very well marked, good path.
Drinking water: Bring plenty of food and drink, there is a tent with a fireplace along the path.
Route description: Ok path, steep in some parts, but easy and fine, changing terrain. Very beautiful and varied landscape with many cultural monuments along the path. Old traffic artery. Best with guide. A rare and wonderful walking experience.
