Tour suggestions:

VIKASÆTRA
Starting point by the road to Lia about 2 km from Grodås, turn right and walk for about 30 minutes on good forest road. Nice view of Grodås / Hornindal.

KIRKHORNSSÆTRA
Starting point at the end of the road in Kirkhornsbakkane, turn left by the forest road that goes steeply up the first piece. A new road branches off to the right with a bridge over the river - and right after that you see Kirkhornssætra. Return the same way or follow the path that goes straight down.
One should expect approximately 2 hours for this trip.

GULKOPPEN
Same starting point as Kirkhornssætra, but walk the forest road until the end. When you reach the bridge by the road, follow the trail further up by Sætrehornet and Storehornet,
to Gulkoppen. Several fine viewpoints on the forest road up, and from Sætrehornet. Approx. 4 hours to the top.

Markane
Starting point at Svor, about 1.5 km from the city center. Turn left and follow the Old Postal Road to Kongsvik. Go further down the road and follow it to the tunnel. Turn left at the tunnel and follow the old highway, until you reach the other end of the tunnel. Follow the road back towards Grodås. The whole trip takes approx. 2.5 hours.

(YTRE-) HORNSNAKKEN
Starting point at Ytrehorn, about 1 km from the city center. Follow signs and then the marked trail to the top. It may be a bit steep in some places but not difficult. From the top there is a fantastic view of Hornindal. Roundtrip about 2 hours.

HØGENIBBA
Start from Bruasætra, 7 km drive from Grodås. About halfway between Bruasætra and Storesætra, the trail takes a new direction. About 2 hours up to the top.

Tussa
Starting point at Hjortedalsætra. From Hjortedalsætra you can either drive or walk, construction road into Hjortedalen. At the end of the road there is a marked trail to Tussa and to Sandfjellet Mountain. It takes approx. 45 minutes to Tussa (from the end of the construction road).

Hornindalsrokken
From Honndøla bridge it is 1.5 km up to Hornindalssætra. You can park the car right before you arrive to the Mountain Farms. Up on the mountainside, west of Hornindalssætra, is a former construction road to the foot of Hornindalsrokken. The road is easy and nice to walk on. One can expect about 1.5 hours from Hornindalssætra to the foot of Hornindalsrokken.
From this point, it's about 4 hours to the top.

DAURMÅLHORNET
Turn off the RV 60 road towards Seljeset (approx. 9 km from Grodås). Turn left after the bridge across the Horndøla/Storelva river. The road is driveable all the way to the Strynesætra
farm. The path for Daurmålhornet branches off to the right at Sandgrova - about halfway to Strynsætra.
