The Prøysen Cottage and Cotter's Farm was Prøysen's childhood home. The Prøysen Cottage dates back to the 1860s, and has been restored in recent years. Cowshed and barn have been rebuilt in their original style, and appear today as they did when Alf Prøysen was born on July 23rd 1914.
