There is a bus stop at the marina. A ten-minute drive to Åkrasanden on the west coast of Karmøy will take you to one of the best beaches in Norway. Just north of Kopervik, in Avaldsnes, one will find the Nordvegen History Centre and a reconstructed Viking farm (Vikinggarden). 
Kopervik has a guest harbour with showers, toilets, and laundryfacilities. The guest harbour is located in the centre of Kopervik.
