From Voss, the route takes you along the shores of Vangsvatnet, to Evanger and up Teigdalen – a typical example of the narrow, wild glens of westernNorway, with small farms clinging to the hillsides. The real trial of strength and the only long climb en route is over theNesheimfjelletMountains, to a height of720 m above sea level. ( Ride by car can be arranged at Mestad Camping (NOK 300). You’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view! On the other side of the mountains, the road winds its way down through Eksingedalen, with its many waterfalls.
