Description

Hardangervidda Fjellguiding provide guided tours into Hardangerviddda National Park. Experience Northern Europe's largest mountain plateau whilst wandering through the national park which was established in 1981. Hike through deep gorges, over hanging bridges, past bubbling rivers and beside tranquil lakes. This is a trip for those looking for something different.

The hike starts with flat and undulating easy-going terrain, with a steady climb towards the end up to Lågliberget, 1300 meters above sea-level. Here you'll experience a fantastic view over Hardangervidda's majestic peak; Hårteigen. The return trip offers a view over Låglitunga and Sæterdalen.

This trip is suitable for everyone. Some hiking experience is recommended. Good footwear is mandatory, as well as wind and water-proof clothing, food and water. Hiking poles are available if desired.

The trip starts at the information center in the heart of Geilo. Group transport is arranged from here to the start of the hike, with commentary along the way.

Geilo has a wide selection of accommodation options, from hotels to cabins or apartments.
