70 metres into the ice – 4000 years back in time. The source of wisdom – Mímisbrunnr – lies there.

Join us for an amazing tour in Mímisbrunnr Klimapark 2469 – an easy three hours walk where you can experience nature, alpine weather and climate, local history about hunting and trapping dating back to the Iron Age. A unique 70 metres long tunnel is dug right in the heart of 4000 year old glacier ice in order to learn about global climate change. Do you dare to go inside and see the whole new world of colour, light and sound you can only find in our park?

Daily guided tours from late June to late August.
Groups on appointment from the middle of June untill the middle of October, or for as long as the road to Juvasshytta is open.
