The venerable Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri guest house

The distinguished old guest-house Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri is a late sixteen hundred Century. Offers accommodation, restaurant, pub/bar, artgallery and outdoor tables.

One of the chefs at the guest house, Mr. Ørjan Johannessen, won the prestigious Bocuse d'Or Europe 2012, and this january he won Bocuse d´Or 2015! 

The guest house was in summer 2009 awarded a "St. Olav’s Rose" for the preservation of Norwegian cultural heritage.

A number of cultural events such as intimate concerts and theme nights held throughout the year.
