Description

Angvik Gamle Handelssted is a member of Classic Norway, and has roots back to the 1500s when sailing ships from Holland anchored in the bay to buy timber. They started a tradition of taking care of the travelers. At the end of the 1800s there was, among other things, steamship quai, trading and barrel production here. Eventually, the site was a hub for transport. Angvik Gamle Handelssted is now run as a meeting- and banquet hotel. Located right by the fjord and is built in classical style, with great emphasis on keeping the history and local traditions. Our guests are mainly groups seeking peace, tranquility and the good atmosphere. This means that we as host wants to facilitate this. In Badehuset Spa, you find thermal spa, Turkish steam bath and different types of spa treatment. The Museum Handelshuset Angvik located in the old "Gustavbua" shows the cultural history dating back to the the 1500s.
