A must do activity for all Northern Lights enthusiasts.

Get a grip of what causes Northern Lights and learn more about the Aurora myths. Try making your own Northern Lights in the plasma chamber.
Enjoy a guided tour and a beautiful picture show – plus a free gift.

Tromsø Museum Opening hours:
The Museum is opened every day except on the 1. January, 1. and 17. May, 24. and 25 December.
- Summer season 1. June to 31. August:
Every day from 9am (09.00) to 6pm (18.00)
- Winter season 1. September to 31. May:
Monday-Friday: from 10am (10.00) to 4.30pm (16.30)
Saturday: from 12pm (12.00) to 3pm (15.00)
Sunday: from 11am (11.00) to 4pm (16.00)

To be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Meeting time and place: 12:50 pm (12:50) / 1:50pm (13:50) / 2:50pm (14:50) at Tromsø University Museum (go by bus number 37 -10 minutes from Tromsø city centre)
Starting time: 1 pm (13:00) / 2pm (14:00) / 3pm (15:00)
*Other starting times on request
Included: Mini-lecture, admission to all the exhibits at Tromsø Museum and the Polar Museum
Duration: 1-2 hours
Level of difficulty: Easy
