Dogsled and sleep underneath the Aurora Borealis. A slightly more challenging Arctic experience but easily achievable. Sled with your huskies through early evening and into the night. Two meals are provided along with all the Arctic equipment you will need. So just bring yourself!

Dogsled and sleep beneath the Aurora Borealis. A slightly more challenging Arctic experience, but on which is easily achievable. Sled with your huskies through the early evening and into the night. This is an exciting and rewarding experience during which you will learn dog handling skills, sample home cooked food, slip on some snowshoes and take a walk in the mountains after supper, followed by a night in a lavvu (Sami herdsmen’s tent). Two meals are provided along with all the Arctic kit you will need.

Meeting time and place: 5:50 pm (17:50) at Rica Ishavshotel
Departure: 6 pm (18:00) from Rica Ishavshotel
Included: : warm Arctic suit, winter boots, hat, mittens, two meals, guide, mushing instructions, sleeping bag, equipment and transfer (35 min. each way)
Duration: 19 hours
Level of difficulty: Medium
