Description

The Farsund marina is a place where you can park your boat and enjoy the scenery. With beautiful mountains in the background, old houses, flowers and a great atmosphere – it is the perfect place to park your boat.

Even if you do not have a boat, you can enjoy the experience. Sit on a bench and watch the swans, have a coffee at a local store overlooking the marina or enjoy a stroll along the water’s edge.

In the month of July, Farsund’s Watchman, (Norway’s only female watchman) greets tourists on the wharf with fresh rolls and the local newspaper, just in time for your morning coffee.

The marina has restrooms, shower facilities, washer/dryer, free WIFI in addition to water and electricity for the boats. The Farsund Marina has been voted Norway’s best Marina several times.
