Description

Toftemo Turiststasjon, built in 1820, was originally part of the Tofte king’s farm estate and has since operated as a coach house. Toftemo is located on highway E6, 2km north of the centre of Dovre and 10km south of Dombås.

Previous guests include King Haakon VII, Queen Maud and Crown Prince Olav during his coronation tour of 1906. Today Toftemo
Turiststasjon offers modern accommodation, with 25 rooms of different standard (14 rooms with shower and WC), a spacious and well-equipped caravan site with 150 spaces, and a total of 21 cabins. We have a cafeteria, shop, and meeting and function rooms. Toftemo Turiststasjon has three-and-a-half kilometers of private beach, offering a great cost-free fishing opportunity to our guests.

Our outdoor swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 26°C. The area offers excellent activities such as visiting the preserved farm estate at Budsjord, seeing the park of historical buildings, alpine and cross country skiing, horseback riding, musk ox safaris and rafting. Toftemo is centrally located in the heart of Norway and is an excellent base for exploring the national parks of Dovrefjell, Rondane and Jotunheimen, both in summer and winter.

We offer affordable rooms with breakfast, half and full board accommodation.
