Description

In the middle of Frederikstens fortress in Halden is Vertshuset Curtisen. The house was built in empire style in 1754 designed by the famous architect BN Garbenstegninger. In teh restaurant they work with regional raw goods from Østfolds pantry. In the commandant's quarters they have a wine cellar and conference rooms.

Vertshuset Curtisen is approved and tested by Norwegian Foodprints. The food is made from scratch, with the use of Norwegian, localproducts and displays local knowledge of food and dishes.
