Description

Jørpeland is situated by the fjord, about 10 km from Tau in Ryfylke. This small Ryfylke town has a selection of shops that offer a wide range of products, ranging from food to toys, sports equipment and furniture. Several galleries exhibit local artists and locally produced handicrafts.

The events calendar reveals that Jørpeland offers a number of varied events throughout the year, such as market day, concerts and all-day entertainment. The result is a lively and pleasant town. Perhaps the most important annual event is Stradadagane, which occurs each June.

Shopping is always a friendly experience in Jørpeland.
