Description

Visit Norway’s largest planetarium with all-dome full-digital film screenings every day. “Experience the Aurora” is a planetarium movie in which a lot of the Northern Lights footage is from the Tromsø region.

The planetarium is a part of the Science Center of Northern Norway where young and old can have fun with popular science, exploring both regional phenomena and universal questions on more than 80 interactive installations.

The topics of the center reflect important research areas of the north: the sky, climate and weather, energy and environment and the body and brain. By appealing to our senses, the Science Center brings out people's curiosity and interaction with science.

Please view the centre's web page for film listings and times:  http://nordnorsk.vitensenter.no/engelsk/filmprogram-en.php. The film is included in the admission fee for the Science Center. Open all year, every day – except May 17th, December 24th-26th and 31st, and January 1st.

Film screenings outside regular hours and group arrangements upon request.
