From Stavanger to the snow in only 2 hours!

Why drive on slippery roads packed with cars heading to the slopes when you can sit back and just enjoy the ride? Winter adventure is just a short boat trip away.

Sauda Ski Center is located about 5 km. from Saudasjøen. It is one of the largest ski centers in the southwestern part of Norway. It boasts 5 ski trails, which are able to handle 5200 skiers an hour. The trails take you 4 km. into the mountains. You can choose between several alpine trails, a special children’s ski trail, a snowboard park, and prepared cross country trails that take you into the mountains.

Sauda Ski Center offers skiing instructions, ski rental services and ski shop. In addition they have family areas with a children’s trail and activities.

The Ski boat departs from Skagenkaien in Stavanger Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets has to be bought online at www.rodne.no at latest 19:00 the day before departure.

Departure:
08:00 - Skagenkaien, Stavanger
08:20 - Tau*
08:40 - Judaberg

* Min. 5 passengers. Pre-booking is necessary at mail@rodne.no or tel. + 47 51 89 52 70 within Friday at 14:00.  

The boat arrives to Sauda at 10:00. Return from Sauda Ski Center at 16:00. Estimated arrival in Stavanger is at 18:30. Pre-booking is required.

A minimum of 15 passengers is required for the boat to depart.

An alcohol serving license applies on board, bringing alcohol/food is not allowed.
