Description

The Coastal Highway
The Coastal Highway (Kystriksveien) from Steinkjer to Bodø, through Nord-Trøndelag County and Nordland County, is one of the most beautiful tourist routes in Norway. A total of seven ferries connect the coastline along this route, and these crossings represent just one of the many positive experiences that impress visitors the most.
The majority of tourists take the Coastal Route by car, and many also take along their bicycles. You might be tempted, for example, to go "island hopping". This cycle tour through the coastal landscape of Namdal, Helgeland and Salten is an adventure not to be missed. Visit our website to order your Coastal Highway Travellers' Guide.
