Lofoten consists of a large number of small and large islands, islets and reefs.

Kayaks are a very environmentally friendly means of transportation and provide a fantastic opportunity to explore the environment in the sea and in immediate proximity to the sea.

Tailor made trips are available all year round - with or without a guide. Instructions and training are provided, and security is given the utmost priority.

Lofoten Kajakk in Kabelvåg offers ocean kayaking trips with a guide and mountain hikes with a guide.

A kayak course, approved by the Norwegian Canoe Association (NPF) and the British Canoe Union (BCU), is offered.

Ocean kayaks and surf kayaks are available for hire. Kayaks and kayak equipment for sale. This year's novelty is wave surfing with a surf kayak!

Lofoten Kajakk is situated 2 km west of Kabelvåg, on the way down from E10 to Sandvika Camping. We are there every morning till 09:00 and in the afternoon after 18:00.

To rent seakayaks you have to show a BCU STAR2 or equivalent.
