Description

Lofoten winters are milder than you would imagine at 68° north. Lofoten Kajakk (Lofoten Aktiv) offers all kinds of "muscular-powered" and environment friendly activities at Lofoten Islands.

From "top"-tours Telemark-skiing or Randonné up to the highest peak in our mountains to nice and easy snowshoe hikes in the Lofotian Hinterland on paths use for generations.

Our trips suits everybody longing for unlimitied views, likes pure and clean nature at the time of the year the sun spends the least time with us.

The "top"-tours can be physical challenging, but all the rest of our hikes and activites are suited for families. Do you not find your trip or have something special in mind; please coantact us, we may have the best solution.

Lofoten Kajakk is the first company in Northern Norway to become "Certified Norwegian Ecotourism". On the web page www.ecotourismnorway.org you will find more information if you like.

Each guide brings up to 15 guests on a trip and less if the hike is challenging.

At 68° North our nature is fragile and our trips are executed accordingly using the principles of LNT.org. Every guest is her/him self responsible for their "footprint".

The trips start at 10:00 from the Tourist information centre at the town square in Svolvær.
