The city ferries are an important part of Fredrikstad’s transport system.


The city ferry (Byfergen) operates between Gamlebyen (the Old Town), Isegran, the town centre and Gressvik.



Byfergen from 19th of August 2013

Monday to Friday, every hour:
Gamlebyen (Old Town) -  06.00 – 16.00
Smertu (Kråkerøy) - 06.05 – 16.05
City centre - 06.15 – 16.15
Gressvik - 06.25 – 16.25
City centre -  06.35 – 16.35
Smertu (Kråkerøy) - 06.40 – 16.40
Gamlebyen (Old Town) - 06.50 – 16.50

Saturday, every hour:
Gamlebyen (Old Town) - kl. 09.00 – 15.00
Smertu (Kråkerøy) - kl. 09.05 – 15.05 
City centre - kl. 09.15 – 15.15
Gressvik - kl. 09.25 – 15.25
City centre - kl. 09.35 – 15.35
Smertu (Kråkerøy) - kl. 09.40 – 15.40
Gamlebyen (Old Town) - kl. 09.50 – 15.50

Sunday, every hour:
