Description

Føllingstua is located in idyllic surroundings in the southern end of Lake Snåsa, 200 m from highway E6, 14 km north of Steinkjer. You can stay in peaceful, and undisturbed surroundings. The camping site is situated on a grass field, close to the shore, with a path leading down to, and along the beach. A nice place for families, with playground, canoes for hire, and barbeque facilities.

Føllingstua offer accommodation in cabins, rooms and spaces for motor homes and caravans with access to electricity.

Cabins, rooms and pitches
Føllingstua has 13 cabins. 7 cabins of high standard (either with one bedroom + loft or 2 bedrooms) - fully equipped kitchen, shower / WC and TV, as well as six basic cabins with cooking facilities.

In addition, they have 3 double rooms; one room with private toilet and refrigerator, and 2 rooms with mini kitchen and washbasin (shared bathroom and toilet).

65 pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Tent area.

There is WFIF available throughout the campsite.

Café, kiosk and dinner service in high season, outside of the season by agreement only. Boat and canoe rentals. Grill cabin. Barbecue area by the lake. Marina. Guest pier. Swimming area. Dog in cabins and rooms kr. 200,- ekstra.

Experience Snåsavatnet/Lake Snåsa
Snåsavatnet is Northern Trøndelag's largest and most important lake. Sale of fishing licenses for Snåsavatnet and rental of boats and canoes. There is very good fishing right outside the campsite with trout, char and lake.

Bring your kayak or rent a canoe, rowboat and get a good experience on Norway's sixth largest lake.

Opportunities for both bird watching and bird listening (large amounts of pink-feet geese landing at Snåsavatnet in the spring).

Events for summer and winter:
Snåsavatnet Fishisn Festival, bike Snåsavatnet Around, Isbolen up, Borgefjell race, round trip to trim boxes, Tour De Kvam. Isbol race.

Innherred can be reached by car, train and bus. The airport in Trondheim, with many international connections, is only 31 miles to the south.

Innherred

Where to stay in Innherred

Stay in a hotel by the Trondheimsfjord, spend a few days on a farm, stop at Munkeby Inn along the pilgrim's route to Trondheim or go camping.
