Trip 2: The Viking Tour- 2.5 hrs

This is a great ride through the old culture’s landscape with interesting geology. We start at Hov, Ride down to the beach and past the remains of the landing sites of Viking boats. Then we ride through the nature reserve and past the moraine. The moraine clearly shows the shoreline of the sea more than 1000 years ago. There is a turf path used by the Vikings that we will ride along; the trail follows a ridge from which we have almost a 360 degree view. Towards the end of the tour you will pass the site of an old courtyard dated from the early Iron age, which is easy to see in the landscape. Duration approx.. 2.5 hrs. Price Nok 850,- per person. Suitable for all, minimum 2 participants.

Trip 3: Nature Reserve and Beach at Vinje- 3.5 hrs

We start at Hov and ride over the moraine along the Viking trail. At the end of the trail we take an old farm track and end up on the beautiful white beach at Vinje. Then we ride through Gimsøy’s nature reserve, surrounded by wonderful views and interesting geology. If we’re lucky, we might see Sea Eagles, Seals or even Orcas in the sea! Duration approx.. 3.5 hrs. Price Nok 1150,- per person. Suitable for all with some experience.  Minimum 2 participants.

Trip 4: Lofoten mountan and Troll valley- duration between 6-7 hrs

This is our longest day ride taking you along the Viking trail and through the nature reserve towards Jenndalen.  We continue through Trolldalen to 325 m in height were there are wonderful views of the north side of Lofoten. In Troll valley it is also possible to try luck fishing in the lunch break. Price Nok 1950,- per person. Suitable for riders who are confident and have medium riding experience. Lnch included.
