Description

Even during our "dark period" you can spend the day paddling and exploring the Raftsundet Alps with the deep and narrow mysterious fjord beneath these towering and glittering snow-covered peaks, or seek the open ocean within the cover of smaller islands; a perfect venue for watching birds, sea mammals and complex environment ocean currents create around these islands on the North Atlantic coast.

A last option is the many small islands in the "Inner side" of Lofoten with the same abundance of natural activity and view of Norway’s mainland.

Tailor made trips are available all year round - with a guide. Instructions and training are provided, and security is given the upmost priority.

Lofoten Kajakk in Kabelvåg offers guided seakayak trips. We are a "Certified Norwegian EcoTourism" company, the first in Northern Norway.

Seakayak courses, approved by NPF and BCU are also offered. Our rental service has sea- and surf kayaks throughout the year. Spraydeck, paddle and PFD are included. To rent seakayaks you have to show a BCU STAR2 or equivalent.

You find us on the way down to Sandvika Camping, 2 km west of Kabelvåg along E10.
