Svalbard - Northern lights package offer

Pricing is per person based on twinshare. Includes Northern Lights dogsledding safari, sightseeing tour and 3 nights at the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel Spitsbergen with buffet breakfast. Spitsbergen Travel is Svalbard’s most experienced tour operator and booking agency. The town itself is close-knit and well lit, and the central tourist sites can easily be reached on foot. For destinations outside the town centre other methods of transport may be required, and we recommend visitors make use of the myriad of guided tours available through Spitsbergen Travel, as the experienced local guides will take care of all safety concerns. We are also focussed on the environment, and use eco-labelled snowmobiles and provide briefings on the protection of the local area.

Longyearbyen, the world’s northernmost town, welcomes you to the Polar Night. Experience this magical season just 1300km from the North Pole, with accommodation at the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel Spitsbergen, a sightseeing tour and dog sledding adventure!

Here in the heart of the Arctic, you can experience the awe-inspiring Aurora Borealis, breath-taking Polar landscape and exhilarating activities, while also enjoying modern comforts like gourmet restaurants and tax-free shopping. The world’s northernmost airport for scheduled flights makes it surprisingly easy to visit and the fantastic Arctic location provides you with the perfect base for exploring the realm of the polar bear, where reindeer roam the streets and the landscape is stark yet stunningly beautiful.

The polar night provides you with a unique opportunity – every hour of darkness increases your chances of seeing the magnificent northern lights dancing in the sky. This fantastic display is even more amazing once you leave the lights of the town behind. To explore the wilderness in winter, we recommend dogsledding tours, snowmobile safaris or snow-cat adventures.
