Description

Experience the sense of a garden party in the summer, the atmosphere when it gets darker in the evenings and the Christmas spirit with snow and a blanket of white on the ground when winter arrives at Yttervik. In a former greenhouse we provide the best moods and ambience for gatherings of all shape and form. We host all types of functions and events from christenings, confirmations, weddings to the memorials etc. Corporate groups have meetings, courses, dinners and Christmas parties with us. The greenhouse can accommodate 150 people, but smaller groups can also be accommodated.

Kufjøset/The cow barn from 1936, with its quaint timber walls and stylish décor has become an innovative and exciting meeting/course/event room.

The beauty of these premises is that they vary according to the season; you can see the wind blowing outside, hear rain drumming against the roof, feel the sun shine on your face and “feel” the great peace and tranquility when it gets dark and candles are lit. In the summer it feels like a garden party with shelter from the weather and the winter light shines so beautifully on the glass plates. Great ambience will be created in every way when we organise an event here at Yttervik.

We serve food from our own kitchen and we obtain produce locally as much as possible, preferably organic and we use our own herbs for flavoring food. Meals are put together by season and available ingredients. We emphasize the "housewife's food" and its traditions, combined with international cuisine.

Yttervik is a certified Norwegian ecotourism enterprise.

Yttervik is a member of Norway's Midpoint SA.
