Description

The mountains in Stryn are higher then they are out towards the coast and the Sunnmøre alps but not as sharp, something that makes them perfect for ski touring. The climate is dryer then further out towards the coast and therefore not as affected by the weather. The high mountains gives us big differences in the weather on short distances, something that gives us good possibilities to find dry snow.

With its location between Romsdalen, The Sunnmøre Alps and Sogndal have Stryn something of a forgotten gem in the winter. We usually have the mountains for ourselves and often get the first tracks down.

Stryn summer ski
When winter is over and the summer is on the way in, the area opens up for world class summer skiing. People come from all over the world to ski in the summer - and if you will be with us one day you will understand why.

The combination of shorter ski touring trips from the resort and longer trips from Grasdalen gives us very good conditions for both the novice and the expert. With these good condition we get a very long ski-season that often lasts until late August.

Groupsizes
If you are a group we are able to arrange the trip, summit, pace etc after your askings. We mainly work with private groups but if your keen to do a trip together with other people just tell us that in advance..

Ski rental
Are you keen to try out light ski touring-gear? Then you have the possibility to rent it from us in conjunction with the trip. We have ski touring packages from Dynafit, with both wide and thin skis that suit the prevailing snow conditions.  Read more about the different skis and prices here.

Safety first
As the first company in Norway we now offer avalanche backpacks for all our customers. If you ever get caught in an avalanche an avalanche backpack is the only thing that can increase the chance of survival. Our guide don´t take bigger risks because of these backpacks but we want to offer you all the safety-nets available on the market. On this video you can see how it works.

Is skitouring something for me?
We are able to arrange the trip after your askings and have had guests in ages between 12 and 72, beginners to freeskichampions. With a big supply of possible summits we are able to ind something that suits just you.

Tailormade
When we say tailormade we mean that we can fit everything around the trip to your requests. We will offer you something that suits you and your group, everything from destination, number of participants, number of days, difficulty, to lodging standard.
If you want to take a rest-day in the skiresort or try something else during a day, we arrange that to. Couldn´t be more tailormade then that!
