Description

Hovdenuten- 1119 m.a.s.l
6 km

Hovdenuten offers splendid views, due to the mountain's prominence. Follow the road from Hovden centre to the bottom of the hill in "Hovden Fjellpark", continue on marked trail to the left. The trail is steep and rocky some areas. Normal walking time to the summit is 1,5 hrs. We recommend that you follow the marked trail down the backside to "Breiveskaret" and back to the top of "Hovden Fjellpark". Another option is to follow the steep gully in the east face of the mountain ( unmarked).
