Description

During the the walk on the Folgefonna glacier you will experience huge flat areas of ice, but also go into crevasse areas and do some climbing if you like. The hike will be adjusted to the wishes of the participants. For some it will be climbing and adrenalin, for some it will be a quiet walk into a different world. On the clacier we will have a lunch break with a beautiful view of theNorth Seaand the Rosendal alps. During the day you will learn about the cultural and natural history of the glacier. Minimum age: 8 years, requires normal physical fitness. Duration: 5-6 hours. All days from mid June to end August, start at 10:30 am. Booking at latest 7 pm the day before. Available in September if snow conditions permit – booking at least 3 days in advance. For a group of 8 persons or more, book your own glacier guide and save money.
