Description

In Ullensvang municipality there is a wide range of beautiful and marked trails available.  One of the highlights is the old trail up to Nosi, with excellent views of the Hardangerfjord, Folgefonna glacier and waterfalls. Nosi is 950 metersabove sea level and along the way you walk through orchards and climb the medieval stone steps Munketreppene. This is also one of the gateways into HardangerviddaNational Park. The hike up to Nosi takes 2.5 hours. Staying at Hotel Ullensvang is a perfect base for several hikes, combining hiking with a wellness centre, swimming pools, fjord views and ecxcellent cuisine. www.hotel-ullensvang.no
