Description

Situated in Fornebu just outside of Oslo, Telenor Arena is an indoor multi-purpose arena for events and entertainment. The arena has room for 23.000 audience members for concerts and 15.000 for sports, making it one of the biggest indoor arenas in northern Europe. After it opened in March 2009, the Telenor Arena has become a much sought-after venue for entertainment events. So far the arena has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and been visited by, among others, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Roger Waters, Jay-Z and Kanye West. The arena is also a centre for trade fairs, courses, congresses and conferences, and in 2013 large trade fairs like Reiselivsmessen and Sjøen for Alle are held here. Telenor Arena will continue to host sports events and more show-oriented sporting events such as handball, biathlon, ice hockey, motor sports and football. 2013 sees an exciting programme with Justin Bieber, Springsteen, Pink and Rihanna among others.
