Description

Idyllically situated along the river Topdal is the historic Boen Gård (Manor), surrounded by park, tall deciduous trees and farmland. The stately manor, the beautiful and tranquil surroundings provide the perfect setting for weddings, parties and company events. Guests have the property exclusively to themselves.

The main house, which dates back to 1813, has been recently restored back to its original glory. Beautiful reception rooms and salons one after another are ready to welcome the guests. In addition a new kitchen and new bathrooms have been installed. The outdoor activities are endless, especially important is the manor’s salmon fishing licenses which the guests can hire.

Food and wine in perfect harmony is synonymous with Boen Manor. Head chef Nicolai Ellitsgaard Pedersen from the restaurant MÅLTID in Kristiansand is responsible for the kitchen at the manor. Innovative and tasty dishes are created here based on local produce. The menu varies according to the season. The restaurant MÅLTID has been ranked one of the top 100 in the Nordic countries.

Linn Mjelde and Kim Wiuff are your hosts at Boen Manor and at the restaurant MÅLTID. The couple are wine and food experts and have a long experience with large events. Until recently Linn and Kim managed the restaurant at Engø Gård / Manor, Tjøme.
