Day 1:

Short walk or transport from Ringebu station to Ringebu Stavchurch 

Short sightseeing in Ringebu Stavkirke

Dinner at Prestegarden or Dale-Gudbrands gard

We stay at Dale-Gudbrands Gard, Hundorp.

Day 2:

Transport to Ringebu. The Day´s walk from Ringebu –Harpefoss 19 km.The first stretch goes onwards north along the Panorama Road which, as indicated in its name, is a road with a good view to Våler Bridge.From the Våler Bridge up through the residential area Kjønas anddown towards Bærsveihølen, an old crossing place where the riverFrya bursts into a waterfall. Onwards through a pine forest and up the hillside before you see the pilgrim centre, Dale-Gudbrand’s Farm.

This was the old seat for Viking chiefs and the centre of power forGudrandsdalen in the Viking Era. This is the location of the story of the meeting between St. Olav and Dale-Gudbrand in 1021, the historical ”Kristningstinget” from Snorre’s Heimskringla.

We will be transportet to Gålå to watch the play "Peer Gynt" at the outdoor-scene by "Gålåvatnet"

We stay at Pilgrim Centre Dale-Gudbrands Gard
